I blinked, and it's been over a year since last I spoke with you folks. Happy New Year, yet again, and God Bless President Donald J. Trump! Yep, I'm till standing on top of the daisies.

Still haven't gotten to shoot that 28 ga.

Had another dance with the reaper two days after Christmas 2016, At Cabela's, of all places. I had a new experience - seizures, this time.

I was at the checkout, when I hit the wall, but miraculously, the checkout person happens to be a former nurse and she knew just how to help me, as well as the rest of the Cabela's staff personnel who assisted me in my distress.

After the subsequent hospital stay, I wrote all of those involved, a letter of appreciation and sent a copy to their Corporate offices, as well. Nice folks.

So, now it's the new round of meds and more recovery time that prevents me from driving for 6 months, until I am cleared by the doctors. The meds' side effects are being dizzy 24/7, but hopefully, they will lessen, in time.

I hate depending on everyone to drive me around and it does matter.

But now, besides the 28, I got my 'grail gun' for Christmas, a classic, Remington 1100 in .410 and very recently a S&W Model 351C Airweight in .22 Mag and a CZ 452 2E American in .22 LR.

So, I need to get it together now that 'shootin' time' is here.

You need to visit by more often!

They still let me drive so maybe I should swing by next time I'm in Ohio and take you, the 28, and the 410 to the range.

Glad you're doing better.

Seizures.  I understand.  I've had them since 1968, or so, when I got hit in the head too hard.  Was TBI before TBI was 'cool'.

Lots of things can cause them.  Some are transient.  Some aren't.
