Dunkirk
« on: January 28, 2019, 10:42:17 PM »

My wife gave me a DVD (non-Blueray, 2 discs) of the movie and also an extra DVD on the making of the movie. The music, what there is of it is eerie, and the scene viewed mostly outside a torpedoed ship full of British soldier evacuees who are locked in and drowning is damn right horrible as the "sound" of what it would have been like "outside the ship, underwater" next to the hull is something never done before in films.

The movie is just a fantastic "War Movie" that goes to the top of my list and I of course recommend it. Greatly.

Saw it in the theater when it came out.  It was worth watching, gave some good views of the chaos of war.

Sounds like it would be well worth watching.
