WW Greener "Vic" early Cadet
« on: August 02, 2017, 02:25:03 PM »

I stumbled on this one on Gun Broker Item #674202591 Been sanded but the rest looks like an early model WW Greener Cadet. I am not bidding on it.

The Greener guns were used as line throwers as well as harpoon guns.

I have seen pictures of the line guns and harpoons.  Greener also made great rifles and shot guns. Years ago I had a SXS Greener 10ga. coach gun.  Fellow wanted it for his collection.
I have learned that the Australian Cadet .310 rifles were made by several different makers.  London Small Arms (LSA) British Small Arms (BSA), WW Greener, Parker Hale (PH).
Westley Richards seems to me the rarest of the lot.  They made them for New Zealand.  I still have the receiver but no other parts.  The Westley Richards is a small version of the the Martini Henry.  The parts are not interchangeable with any of the of the others.
