My latest projects
« on: October 18, 2016, 07:33:56 PM »

These have been keeping me busy for a while, I finally finished all of them. The first two are a gunbelt and holster I made for my wifes Ruger Bisley Vaquero .357 Mag

A knife sheath for a Schrade model 150 hunting knife decorated with an image of a buffalo skull

A gunbelt for Cap&Ball revolvers and pair of holsters for my 1860 Colt Armies.

A better look at the holsters.

The guns and their holsters.

Good looking leather work.  The holsters that I made for my three Pedersoli revolvers look like the ones you made.  Great minds and all that.  ;)  I still cannot do the decorative carving.  Hell I can't draw a circle with compass or a straight line with a ruler.  Good work !!

Thanks Folks!
Rose I wish that the fireplace was a real woodburner instead of a gas fireplace.

Good results, Mike. Reminds me I have yet to make a holster and gun-belt for my Ruger Supper Blackhawk, 4 5/8's barrel.

On my trip to Lake Woebegone, MN. last week I scored three tubes of Barge's leather cement, which has been outlawed by Kalifornia's nanny-stater, sly-is-falling legislation. The large cans of Barge Cement had been put under controlled sales years go and then one day even the 2 ounce tubes disappeared.

Barge produces two versions of its glue. The original in the classic yellow/red tubes and a "new" cement - without toluene, the Killer Ingredient - in a blue and white colored tube.

Anyway. It's good to see you have the means to properly carry yer gats, beyond hauling them around in yer pockets.
